Crest Farm Barn

Location

Crest Farm Barn in Chelsea, Alabama (Shelby County), is conveniently located 3 miles from US Highway 280, only 40 minutes from the Birmingham International Airport. The wedding barn and event center are privately owned and operated by Dr. Bill Naugher and his wife, Cheryl Naugher.

The setting for Crest Farm Barn is both secluded and romantic. Looking out over a beautiful private lake, the barn and event center sit on 16 acres of lush woodland. The farm includes a secret garden, a lovely fruit orchard, a beautiful forest, a vintage red 1949 International tractor, and a traditional horse fence that surrounds a charming wedding gazebo. The idyllic country setting provides many exquisite backdrops for memorable wedding pictures.

Accommodations

The 4500-square foot two-story barn has an office, kitchen, two western bars, a large stage, laundry room, and 3 public restrooms on the main level (one is ADA approved).

The upstairs includes a large makeup/living space, a double vanity bath with a tile shower, a private enchanting bedroom, a coffee/drink bar, and a picturesque balcony, making it the best bridal suite in Alabama.

The Barn also offers the most unique Groom’s Suite in the south, which includes a second western bar, and a built-in entertainment center with television, Playstation and memorabilia. There is also a leather sofa, leather chair, and a dart board.

Mike and Susan

Mike and Susan Naugher, Event Supervisors for Crest Farm Barn, actually live on the property and are loved and respected by the community. My aunt and uncle are blessed with a gentle, warm, and friendly personalities, making them perfect people to assist you with your wedding or special event. They have three wonderful children (Wes, Shannon, and Sloan) and several adorable grandchildren.

They will happily assist you will any specific needs that may arise during your event. They are also happy to answer questions for the wedding/event coordinator, caterers, or other vendors.
